Sand mining trucks seized in Kerala.
This is encouraging news although way too little and way too late. The lovely river where I swim when the water is high is already so far gone from the illegal sand mining that has been going on for years. The lack of sand has turned it into a muddy river. Now if they could only be forced to redistribute the sand back where it belongs. But too many MacMansions are springing up to imagine that ever happenin.
Sigh.
